Venturing Outdoors

Programs for Young Men and Young Women
Seeking Adventure and Challenges.

Outdoors is just one of five interest areas in Venturing. Within Outdoors are many varied focus areas, including Camp, Hike, Explore Caves, Ride Horses, Climb Rocks, Snow Ski, just to name a few.

Many Outdoor crews work on their Ranger Award. You can read about the Ranger Award at the
Ranger Fact Sheet page.

You as an individual Venturer probably have many interests or would like to have more. You might join a crew because you have strong interest in one area, but want to do more. Nothing is stopping you or your crew! You can specialize in one or two things and still explore the many other things that Venturing has to offer. Arts and Hobbies crews frequently venture out on the sea or try arts & hobbies, participate in religious activities or play sports.

Because of that desire on your part and to give you a pathway to many different experiences, the Venturing Bronze Award is wide open to you. You can even earn all five Bronze awards, it's up to you!
