Sports is just one of five interest areas in Venturing. Within Sports are many varied focus areas, including Archery, Badmitton, Golf, Ice Skating, Racquetball, Curling, Volleyball, just to name a few.

You as an individual Venturer probably have many interests or would like to have more. You might join a crew because you have strong interest in one area, but want to do more. Nothing is stopping you or your crew! You can specialize in one or two things and still explore the many other things that Venturing has to offer. Sports crews frequently venture out on the sea or go on land-based high adventure activities, participate in religious activities or try art & hobbies.

Because of that desire on your part and to give you a pathway to many different experiences, the Venturing Bronze Award is wide open to you. You can even earn all five Bronze awards, it's up to you!
