Aquatic Adventures - or Sea Scouts - is just one of five interest areas in Venturing. Within Aquatic Adventures are many varied focus areas including Canoeing, Rafting, Fishing, Rowing, Sailing, Scuba, Swimming, Water Skiing, just to name a few. Sea Scouts itself is a specialized program within Venturing, in fact the Sea Scout program is over 90 years old! As an individual Venturer, you probably have many interests or would like to have more. You might join a crew because you have strong interest in one area, but want to do more. Nothing is stopping you or your crew! You can specialize in one or two things and still explore the many other things that Venturing has to offer. Sea Scouts ships frequently go on land-based high adventure activities, participate in religious activities, try arts & hobbies or play sports.

Because of that desire on your part and to give you a pathway to many different experiences, the Venturing Bronze Award is wide open to you. You can even earn all five Bronze awards, it's up to you!
